In his first life, Tim Ecclestone was a professional hockey player who started his career with the St. Louis Blues in 1967. In 1971, he was traded to the Detroit Red Wings where he played for three years with Hall of Famers like Gordy Howe and Alex Delvecchio. He spent a year in his hometown of Toronto, where hockey seems to run in the blood, playing with the Toronto Mapleleafs until he moved to Atlanta in 1974. There he spent the last four years of his career playing with the now defunct Atlanta Flames.
