On June 13, a Wal-Mart loss prevention officer stopped a female at the exit of the store because she was attempting to walk out with a stroller that she did not purchase. When the officer asked for a receipt showing she had purchased the stroller, the female could not supply one. The suspect’s child then pulled a receipt out of her pocket, which showed that the suspect had purchased a bag of M & M’s, but no stroller.
The child, apparently sensing imminent trouble, said, “Momma, we need to run.” The female and her child then bolted for their car. The loss prevention officer tried to follow them, but the suspect was able to get to her car and get away. The stroller stealer is still on the loose.
Fisticuffs at Wild Wings
On June 15, a fight broke out between two out-of-towners at Wild Wings in Alpharetta. In one corner, there was Stephen Russo, a 22-year-old from Red Oak, Tex. In the other corner was Dustin Shaneberger, a 26-year-old from Fayetteville, Penn. According to Shaneberger, he was punched in the face after exiting the bar and that’s all he could remember.
However, quite a few witnesses stepped forward to help clear things up for the police. According to them, Shaneberger was out of control while in the bar. When the bar closed, and with both subjects outside, the two got into an argument.
The witnesses then stated that both men yelled “(expletive) you” to one another. Following the expletive themed name-calling, the argument became physical. That’s when Russo decked Shaneberger.
Russo claimed that he only hit Shaneberger because he felt his safety was in jeopardy. Neither subject could decide if they wanted to press charges against the other, however the police decided to arrest the pair for disorderly conduct.
The world is his restroom
On June 14, Roswell police showed up at the Myrtle Street apartments in reference to a public indecency call. A witness said that the suspect, Aurelio Guzman-Crescencio, was peeing on the side of his apartment building and was fully exposing himself while doing so. The witness said that he asked Crescencio to stop peeing on his building, but Crescencio just laughed. When confronted with these facts, Crescencio did not deny peeing on the building or exposing himself. Crescencio was arrested for public indecency.
