On June 1, Roswell police were called to Crystal Lounge because two patrons were allegedly drunk and belligerent. When the first officer arrived on the scene, he saw the two drunken patrons, identified as Angel Garcia and Alejandro Castro, leaving the establishment. The officer noticed that the pair was obviously drunk, and he advised them to take a cab home. Garcia disputed the officer’s observations and said that he was sober enough to drive.

However, after the officer flagged down a taxi, both men got in it. Moments later, the cab returned with the two gentlemen. The cab driver explained to the officer that the intoxicated twosome had said that they would not pay any fare for the ride.

The officer once again advised the duo to take a cab and once again they declined. Castro and Garcia then entered their vehicle right in front of the officer. When the officer and several of Crystal Lounge’s security personnel attempted to stop the pair, Castro and Garcia began yelling obscenities at them in Spanish. The men were finally subdued and arrested. They were both charged with public intoxication.

Loitering and Indecency
On May 30, a Roswell police officer was called to the Myrtle Street Apartment complex in reference to some alleged indecent behavior. Upon arrival, the officer noticed a black male, later identified as Rondell Banks, sitting in a car with his shirt off. As the officer drew closer to the car, he also noticed that the Banks’ pants were down below his thighs. Because Banks’ pants were so low, the officer was able to see his unmentionables.

Banks told the officer that his pants were down because he had to go to the bathroom. Then Banks told the officer that he was hot, so he had taken some clothes off so he could “cool off and relax.”

The officer also noticed a cold can of beer in the center console of Banks’ car. The person who had made the call to dispatch told the officer that this was not the first time that Banks had hung out at the apartment complex. The officer decided to arrest Banks for loitering and public indecency.
