Lew Oliver, a Roswell architect, is currently involved in a plan to bring a mixed-use development (which includes a hotel) to the Historic Roswell Square. The plans call for 2-4 story buildings to be built between Barrington Hall and the Old Roswell Mill at the SE intersection of Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) and Hwy 9 (Atlanta Street).
Currently, the developers are working with Roswell's Historic Preservation Commission. Plans for the Mixed-Use development are expected to be presented to Roswell's Planning Commission on May 20th. The Planning Commission will provide the Roswell City Council with a recommendation on whether to approve or deny the project.
It is anticipated that in June, the plans will be presented to the Roswell City Council who will decide whether to approve or deny the proposed project.
