Alpharetta First United Methodist Church and Saint James United Methodist Church are partnering again this year for the 4th annual Great Day of Service on April 19th.
This annual service event will combine the resources of two of Alpharetta’s largest churches and over 300 volunteers to perform dozens of service projects throughout the North Metro Atlanta region. The volunteers will be grouped into teams to which service projects will be assigned for everything from handy-man work to yard clean-up to charitable organizations’ chores. Painting, exterior renovations, landscaping and maintenance are just some of the physical projects assigned to members.
This community performs charitable works in missions all over the world and this is a chance to do great things right here in North Fulton and the surrounding area. The day will begin with breakfast for all volunteers at 7:30am. Teams will then be sent out on the various projects in the community.
If you would like to volunteer or if you are aware of a service project for an organization or someone in need, please contact Jack Spicer at spicerj@aetna.com or 678-409-1245.
