St. Andrew Family Fish Dinners sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.


Every Friday evening, Family Fish Dinners will be available from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Family Center of Saint Andrew Catholic Church, 675 Riverside Rd., Roswell.


Fun family movies will be shown to keep children entertained.
The cost of dinner is $8 adults, $3 children 12 and under, and no more then $25 per family.

Great American Cover-Up Quilt Show at Bulloch Hall, 180 Bulloch Ave., Roswell.


The theme for this year’s show is “Warm Traditions and Cool New Views.”  The show will include approximately 200 quilts by local artists and 40 pieces from the 2007 Hoffman Challenge.


Tour hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Mon. - Sat. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Sun.
Tickets are $8 Adults, $6 Children.

Lil’ Angels Children’s Spring & Summer Consignment Sale at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, 69 North Main St.


Sale hours are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. on March 14 and 9 a.m. - NOON on March 15.


The sale features gently worn spring/summer infant and youth clothing, furniture, toys and maternity.


Proceeds benefit local women and children’s charities.

12th Annual Roswell Woman’s Club Showcase Homes - History, Heritage, Hospitality; “Building Foundations in the Community.”


The event features 3 homes in Roswell priced from 1.5 million dollars to over 2.5 million.  Approximately 29,000 square feet of decorated space by 50 designers utilizing a French country theme.

The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department’s Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. - NOON at North Park, 13450 Cogburn Rd. on softball fields 1-4.


Entertainment is scheduled including inflatables, carnival games, face painting and a visit from The Easter Bunny.  Food concession will be available.


At 11:30 a.m., children ages 10 years and under are invited to find eggs.  Prizes will be awarded.

Flashlight Egg Hunt from 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. at East Roswell Park and Recreation Center, 9000 Fouts Rd., Roswell.


Hunt for eggs in the dark with nothing but your flashlight; find the Golden Egg and win a basket full of prizes and treats.


Bring your camera because you might even see the bunny hopping around.


Bring a flashlight and basket or container.  A family event; Everyone must register individually and all children must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian.  All ages welcome.


Fee:  $6 residents; $9 non residents.

The Piedmont Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution breakfast meeting at 8 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Hotel, 909 Holcomb Bridge Rd., Roswell.

Free Non-fasting Glucose Screenings from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at CVS Pharmacy, 1380 Woodstock Rd., Roswell.


CVS will be providing glucose level and body composition percentage results as a first step in identifying risk for diabetes.

10K/5K Free self-guided walk in Marietta sponsored by the Roswell Striders Volksmarching Club, which strives to promote walking for fitness and recreation.


Start time is 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. and you will finish by 2 p.m.  There is no charge for walkers, but a Volksmarching credit stamp is $3.


The walk will be on sidewalks and the route will include the Marietta Square and Glover Park, the Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum, the old train depot, historic homes and Civil War sites.


The start and finish point is in the back parking lot of Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, 180 Church St NE, Marietta.

12th Annual BMW Ultimate Drive supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Global Imports, 500 Interstate North Parkway, Atlanta.


The event is free.  Participants will be able to drive a BMW model of their choice and raise $1 for every mile they drive for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Fund-raising Tea Party hosted by The Roswell Garden Club from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the Roswell Adult Recreation Center, 830 Grimes Bridge Rd.


Noted local author and humorist Millie Coleman will speak on “How we dine, dress, drink and drawl down South.”

6th Annual Children’s Festival from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the Alpharetta Community Center Event Lawn, 175 Roswell St.


Hosted by the Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department, the festival is devoted to children and families.


Activities will include safety tips from the local police and fire departments, pony rides, petting zoo, magic show, arts and crafts, food vendors and more.
