The Bob Bodahl Caregiver Scholarship was created to remember the care Mr. Bodahl provided for his wife of nearly 50 years, Ginny, who died at age 73 on October 12, 2005 as a result of Alzheimer’s disease. The foundation was created in Ginny’s honor not only to raise money for Alzheimer’s research but also to “educate, inform and encourage people to learn more about the disease and to find ways to stimulate their minds in hopes of preventing and curing” it.
