The city of Roswell Transportation Department (RDOT) will hold a public open house on March 6 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to gather input and to present conceptual alternatives for improvements to Riverside Parkway. The open house will be held at the Roswell River Landing, 245 Azalea Drive. The city is planning to improve Riverside Parkway from the Cobb County line to Eves Road with a park-like atmosphere. The ideas are focused on techniques to enhance the streetscape of the roads fronting the Chattahoochee River. Ideas include the possibility of monument signage, splitter islands and improved bike and pedestrian facilities. For additional information about this public open house, contact RDOT at 770-594-6420
