Six-year-old Nicholas Lezaj of Roswell was named as a national runner-up in the Chick-fil-A “Show Us the Cow” contest. Nicholas’ winning photo showcased the Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin” cows playing football. The contest garnered more than 1,100 entries and the first-grader from Garrison Mill Elementary School was one of nine runner-up spots in the competition.
The Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin” cows have attracted fans young and old during their 12-year-long campaign for the popular chicken chain. During the summer and early fall, Chick-fil-A asked its younger fans to take photos of the cows in their favorite places or doing their favorite activities. Photos were submitted, with the help of their parents, to the chain’s www.ShowUsTheCow.com Website.
The Chick-fil-A restaurant at Roswell Corners honored Nicholas and his winning photo during a Veggie Tales Kids Night. During the event, franchise Operator Paul Joubert presented Nicholas with prizes that include one year of FREE Chick-fil-A Kid’s Meals.
“We are always looking for fun and creative ways to engage our younger fans with the Chick-fil-A brand and promote family togetherness,” said Angela Savage, senior creative services consultant for Chick-fil-A. “We were thrilled with the number of children who participated in our ‘Show Us The Cow’ contest and we are honored to have children like Nicholas who enjoy our food, love our cows and appreciate the value of the educational activities we offer.”
