Know Your LimitOn September 9 at 7 p.m., a call was made to 9-1-1 about an intoxicated man in people’s backyards threatening to blow people up. When police arrived at the scene, they were taken to a fenced, gated yard where the complainant stated that the man had crawled around the fence in the back of the yard, leaving his white jersey behind. While officers checked the underbrush for more evidence of the man – or the man himself – another call came in that the man had been seen two doors down.Officers knocked on the door of the house just down the road and asked if a man fitting the description of the drunk was in the house. Michael F. Route, 25, of Atlanta came to the door clearly intoxicated and covered in dirt and brambles. When shown the jersey, he admitted to owning it. When asked about he threats of blowing people up, he responded to the effect of “maybe I was, maybe I wasn’t.” Route was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct due to alcohol. DUI Arrests Donald Edward Blackman, 56, of Milton, was arrested September 4 on Cogburn Road for failure to maintain his lane, DUI, having a BAC of .08 or more and driving with a suspended license. Willard Laurence Ent, 52, of Woodstock, was arrested September 7 on Cogburn Road for DUI and having a BAC of .08 or more. Enrique Blanco Pedraza, 26, of Roswell, was arrested September 8 on Arnold Mill Road for driving with an open container of alcohol, DUI and not getting a Georgia license within 30 days of moving to Georgia. Jeovany Cornelio Martinez, 28, of Woodstock, was arrested September 8 on Arnold Mill Road for not having a driver’s license, driving with an open container of alcohol, DUI and having a BAC of .08 or more. Drug Arrests Matthew Joseph Petino, 20, of Roswell, was arrested September 9 on Arnold Mill Road for failure to maintain his lane, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and DUI. Chuck William Roberts, 23, of Milton, was arrested September 4 on Fashertone Drive for driving without proof of insurance and possession of marijuana. |
